Yawnee Gunna is a name making waves in the hip-hop scene,

emerging as one of Arizona’s most respected and versatile artists.

Hailing from Globe-Miami, Arizona, Yawnee has developed a unique

sound deeply rooted in personal experiences, blending elements of

trap anthems with a distinct West Coast influence. At 29, he has

become a jack-of-all-trades in hip-hop, crafting a sonic identity that

is both raw and dynamic.

Yawnee’s journey into music began at 15, freestyling with friends

during school lunch breaks. By high school, he had released two

mixtapes, and despite the rough quality, they sparked a demand for

more. At 20, determined to take his passion seriously, he overcame

personal struggles and introduced the world to The Seventh Evans

Mixtape under the moniker Yawnee Gunna. With 500 physical

copies distributeD, he generated a grassroots buzz that put his

name on the map.

His breakout single, "Probation" featuring Sammie Williams and.

directed by renowned videographer Kor Capital, the video earned

first place in the nationwide Coast 2 Coast competition. This victory

led him to Miami Beach for an in-studio meet with Warner Music

A&R, as well as a live performance competition where he secured
